Wedding and event minibus

Guest transport is one of those things at a wedding that either works invisibly or ruins the evening. A 9-seater minibus with a driver, runs spread across the night, and return trips when guests actually want to leave.

Guests never all leave at once

This is the heart of the service. Getting everyone to the venue is easy — from a hotel, from the church, or from one meeting point, more or less together. The journey home spreads across several hours: guests with children leave around ten, some go after midnight, and the rest at dawn.

So for weddings we plan several return runs rather than one. The times are agreed in advance with the couple or with whoever is organising, and the driver sticks to them regardless of what is happening in the function room.

How we price it

For weddings an hourly rate usually works out best — the minibus is at your disposal for an agreed period and the number of runs within that window does not matter. Where the plan is simply "there and one trip back", a fixed fare is often cheaper.

When to book

The wedding season in Pomerania runs mainly from May to September, and Saturdays go first. If you have the date and the venue, it is worth calling straight away, even if the timings are still up in the air. The run schedule itself can comfortably be settled a few weeks beforehand.

What we need to quote

• the wedding date,
• the venue address and the places we are collecting guests from,
• roughly how many people need transporting,
• planned times — the outward run and the expected returns,
• a phone number for whoever is coordinating transport on the day.

That last point matters more than it sounds. On the day, the couple will not be answering their phone — quite rightly. So we agree one contact person and the driver calls only them.

Frequently asked questions

How many return runs can we plan?

As many as you need within the agreed window. On an hourly rate what counts is the time the minibus is at your disposal, not the number of journeys. Typically that is three or four runs: around ten, after midnight, and at dawn.

Who sets the times on the day?

One nominated contact person — not the couple. On the day, neither of you will be answering the phone, quite rightly. The driver calls that one person only.

Does the driver wait between runs?

Yes, if that is what we agree. On an hourly rate the driver stays available for the whole booked period and does not disappear in between.

When should we book?

As soon as you have the date and venue. The Pomeranian season runs mainly May to September and Saturdays go first. The detailed run schedule can be settled a few weeks beforehand.

Do you cover stag and hen parties too?

Yes. The whole group travels together and nobody drives. We also cover banquets, christenings, anniversaries and family celebrations.

What if the party runs longer than planned?

Call the driver — if the schedule allows, we extend. The cost of the extra time is quoted there and then, before we carry on.

What will turn up
