Gdansk airport transfer

Pick-up and drop-off at any hour, day or night

An airport transfer comes down to one thing: the driver being there when they said they would be. We collect from and deliver to Gdansk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) at any hour of the day or night, weekends and public holidays included.

Why a minibus rather than two taxis

Once there are three or four of you with suitcases, a normal car stops working. Splitting the group across two vehicles means two fares, two drivers, and the risk of one car getting stuck in traffic. A 9-seater LONG-wheelbase minibus takes the whole group and the luggage together — one price, one driver, everybody arrives at the same moment.

Arrivals: we check whether your flight has landed

This is where transfers usually go wrong. The flight is delayed, the driver waited for the agreed time and left, and the passenger is standing at the airport at one in the morning.

Before setting off to collect you, we check the current landing time. If the flight is late, the driver simply leaves later. You do not pay for a delay you had no control over.

The driver waits in the arrivals hall, not in the car park, and you get their phone number so you can reach them directly. Just give us your flight number when booking.

Departures

We agree the pick-up time by working backwards from your departure, leaving room for check-in, security and possible traffic. Tell us the departure time and we will suggest when we should collect you. For early-morning flights that usually means a very early start — that is a normal part of the service, not a surcharge for an awkward hour.

We collect from the address you give us. There is no meeting point to get to.

Where we collect from

Our base in Pruszcz Gdański is close to the airport and to the Tricity ring road, so the run to collect you is short. We regularly serve:

  • Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot — all districts, picking up at your address,
  • Pruszcz Gdański and the surrounding area,
  • Tczew, Rumia, Reda, Wejherowo and the rest of Pomerania,
  • runs to other airports — Bydgoszcz, Poznan, Warsaw, Berlin — when there is no convenient connection from Gdansk.

Luggage

Our vehicles are LONG-wheelbase, meaning a genuinely extended luggage compartment rather than a marketing difference. If all nine seats are taken and everyone has a large suitcase, mention it when booking: sometimes two runs work better than stacking bags on laps. Tell us about unusual items too — skis, boards, a pushchair, instruments — so we can prepare the vehicle.

What to tell us when booking

  • direction: to the airport or from it,
  • the date, plus your flight number (arrivals) or departure time (departures),
  • the pick-up or drop-off address,
  • the number of passengers and pieces of luggage.

Night and early-morning transfers are best booked ahead — not because they cost more, but because those are the busiest slots.

Payment

Transfers are usually quoted as a fixed fare — one amount for the journey, known before departure and unaffected by traffic. We give you the price when you book. The full pricing rules are on the pricing page, and the mechanics of hiring are covered under minibus hire with driver.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Nothing — we simply come later. Before setting off to collect you we check the current landing time, so the driver only leaves when it makes sense. There is no charge for this, because a delayed flight is not something you control.

Does the driver wait in the arrivals hall?

Yes. The driver waits inside the arrivals hall, not in the car park. You get their phone number when you book, so you can reach them directly if anything is unclear.

How much luggage fits?

Our vehicles are LONG-wheelbase, with a genuinely extended luggage compartment rather than a marketing difference. If all nine seats are taken and everyone has a large case, mention it when booking — sometimes two runs work better than bags on laps. Flag unusual items (skis, boards, a pushchair, instruments) in advance too.

What time should we leave for the airport?

Tell us your departure time and we will suggest the pick-up time ourselves, working backwards with room for check-in, security and possible traffic.

Do you operate at night and on public holidays?

Yes, at any hour, weekends and holidays included. There is no surcharge for it — night runs are a normal part of airport transfers. They are worth booking ahead though, as those are the busiest slots.

Do you collect from my address?

Yes. There is no meeting point — we collect from the address you give us and deliver to a specific destination address.

Do your drivers speak English?

Bookings and quotes are handled in English by phone and email. If you would rather write than call, email biuro@bus-brothers.pl with your flight number, address and passenger count.
